WEST FARGO — Two area sub shops donated thousands of sandwiches to health care workers on the front lines in the fight against coronavirus.
The Fargo and West Fargo Jersey Mike's Subs locations gave the free food to Sanford and Essentia Health workers April 13-30. In total, they donated over $21,000 worth of sandwiches to the workers
The owner of the shops, A.J. Hofer, said they felt donating these subs was the least they could do for essential workers.
While the free subs offer has expired, the Fargo and West Fargo locations of Jersey Mike's Subs will continue to provide $2 off a sub for health care employees that show their badge.
