In a highly competitive category, one Fargo restaurant rose to the top. Doolittles Woodfire Grill serves up a whole smorgasbord of sandwiches, salads, pastas, and signature entrées, but folks there say it's their chicken, slow-roasted over an open flame on their woodside rotisserie, that really stands out.
"The most resounding feedback we continually receive from our guests through the years is that we do not focus just on food, service, or ambiance," said Doolittles General Manager Pat Lipsea. "At Doolittles, ‘Hospitality is our Craft’ and to me, that means that all these things need to hold equal importance for the best dining experience possible. That is why our guests have been so loyal to us and vice versa!"
Lipsea says since the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Doolittles reopened in May in a way that has guests expressing gratitude for their focus on safety and comfort.
"Our team has been extremely diligent with regards to sanitation, PPE usage, and social distancing," said Lipsea, who says the restaurant now has heated, sheltered outdoor spaces for diners. "From the onset of the pandemic the community has recognized that Doolittles is somewhere you can count to comfortably and safely dine, which is incredibly important for all of us right now."
