WEST FARGO -- The longtime West Fargo-based Stockmen’s Supply store is moving, but the veterinary clinic will remain at the 802 Main Avenue W. facility.

Stockmen’s parent company, ANIMART, said in a statement that the store will be relocating to the Mandan, N.D., location by June 30.

Dr. Tammy Johnson will continue to operate in the West Fargo clinic location and provide companion animal veterinary services for the area.

“My staff and I are ready to serve our patients in West Fargo,” Johnson said in a release. “We look forward to providing the same outstanding level of care we’ve always given to our patients.”

The company said in a statement that the move from West Fargo to Mandan marks potential growth for the company, as there are plans to increase the employee base at the Mandan location.

ANIMART said the company is continuing to focus on the beef livestock industry.

“We are positioning Stockmen’s Supply for continued growth in a competitive market,” Dan Ellsworth, president and chief executive officer of ANIMART, said in a statement. “This move helps simplify our operation and keeps prices competitive for the beef industry we serve,” he added.
