Second Beans Coffee Bar set to open soon

FARGO-Beans Coffee Bar is getting closer to launching its second Fargo location.

"We're hoping to open in February," said Heidi Holland, who owns Beans Coffee with her husband, Chris.

The new coffee shop is at 2550 S. University Drive, in space that had been the home of an A&W restaurant.

While changes to the building's exterior are advanced, the makeover inside is still a work in progress, Heidi Holland said, adding the new shop will be similar to the first Beans Coffee Bar, which is at 5675 26th Ave. S., in Fargo.

"It will be the same contemporary kind of comfortable feel, with jazz music," she said.

"We have our staff ready," Holland added. "I'm really excited to start serving this part of town."
