There will also be tours of the facility, including the eight themed luxury suites, including Barkaritaville, Italian Racer and Superhero; the indoor-outdoor cabins, and a special cares guest room for the hearing- and/or vision-impaired dogs, or dogs that are experiencing mobility issues.
The main event takes place in the facility's indoor dog park and daycare enrichment space.
Barks & Recreation requests that all dogs attending the event are up to date on their vaccinations, including bordatella, rabies, and parvo/distemper.
Barks & Recreation provides dog boarding, dog daycare enrichment, dog training, and in-home pet sitting services. Founders Ashley Hahn and Deborah Hemstad met through dog rescue work and launched Barks & Recreation's pet sitting in 2016. After three years of planning and designing, they opened their new 9,000-square-foot facility in mid-April of this year. For more information, go online to barksandrecfargo.com.
