FARGO — A cleaning company celebrated its 10-year anniversary by giving back to the community.
TLC Cleaning hosted a party Saturday night to celebrate a decade of business, offering live music and drinks for anyone 21 and up for free.
The business also asked for nonperishable food donations, which will be given to the Great Plains Food Bank.
"It's something that makes me proud, and every time that we do a new event that is just good for the community, it's just part of that feel-good thing," said Trisha Lake, the owner and CEO for TLC Cleaning. "I mean, we're doing it for them, but at the same time, it feels really good to be taking care of other people, too."
Lake said this party was a way to thank clients and the community for their support for the past decade.
"It's pretty cool, the fact that our community has supported us through all this time and have our back," she said. "We have gotten to the point to be one of the top, most successful maid services in the country."
