Thrifty Drug inside south Fargo Hornbacher's closes

Prescriptions from Thrift Drug are being transferred to a nearby pharmacy.

FARGO — The Thrifty Drug located inside the Southgate Hornbacher’s closed Wednesday, Nov. 24, a store employee confirmed to InForum.

Thrifty Drug, located at 1532 32nd Ave. S. was forced to close due to ongoing financial circumstances. “The economic conditions are not such that we can make it anymore,” the store employee reported.

All current Thrifty Drug prescriptions are being transferred to Linson Pharmacy as part of the closing. North Dakota residents are free to transfer their prescriptions elsewhere, a Linson Pharmacy manager explained.

Linson Pharmacy is located at 3175 25th St. S., inside Family Fare and near Thrifty Drug. For more information regarding the closing or transfer of prescriptions, customers can call Linson Pharmacy at 701-293-6022 .
