FARGO-A mention on the Cooking Channel is enough to leave other restaurants green with envy, but that isn't a problem for the Toasted Frog.

The brand, which has three locations, including one in downtown Fargo, will be featured Monday, March 19 during the season finale of "The Best Thing I Ever Ate" on the Cooking Channel, starring Molly Yeh.

The Frog's deep-fried cheesy pickles will be highlighted.

To celebrate, the restaurant is offering a special at all three of its locations through March 19 that provides guests with one free order of the deep-fried cheesy pickles with the purchase of two entrees at regular price.

Sarah Anderson, general manager of the Toasted Frog in Fargo, said the national TV exposure is welcome.

"We're really excited about it," Anderson said. "It's pretty cool that Molly chose our fried pickles to be her favorite thing."

In addition to the Fargo store at 305 Broadway, there are Toasted Frogs in Grand Forks and Bismarck.
