FARGO - Ministerial intern David Kraemer will share his journey to Unitarian Universalism and how transcendentalists played a role at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Fargo-Moorhead, 121 S. 9th St.

American transcendentalists, including Ralph Waldo Emerson, Henry David Thoreau and Margaret Fuller, greatly influenced Unitarianism as it grew in the new United States. Their ideas shape the church's beliefs today.

Kraemer's service will explore transcendentalist ideas, particularly the idea of inspiration and how these thinkers believed it connects us with the divine.
