MOORHEAD - Twenty Below Coffee Co. is planning a coffee and cookies giveaway this Saturday, Nov. 28, at its new Comstock Commons shop.
The Small Business Saturday promotion will run 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (while supplies last) through the drive-up window on the east side of the building at 600 8th St. S., the Fargo-based coffee company announced on Facebook and Instagram.
Meanwhile, the downtown Fargo shop at 14 Roberts St. N. will be open as normal Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with limited seating available, as well as curbside pickup.
The giveaway is part of a gradual run-up to the full-time opening of the Moorhead shop, co-owner Mike Moran said Tuesday, Nov. 24.
“We’re pretty excited about that,” Moran said. “We’re getting ready to open up here. Just have some minor construction” to finish.

The Moorhead shop’s soft-opening will take place Dec. 10-12 and Dec. 17-19, Moran said.
Minnesota’s COVID-19 pandemic restrictions on bars and restaurants don’t allow indoor service through Friday, Dec. 18, to help slow the spread of the coronavirus. But customers can arrange pickup through the shop’s online platform at shop.20below.coffee, through Grubhub.com delivery, or at the shop’s drive-through window, Moran said.

The grand opening is planned for Dec. 31, still putting it in 2020, as the owners promised.
“With everything that’s gone on in the last 6 to 12 months, everything has been slow-going for us,” Moran said.
The other members of the ownership group are Ty and Elisha Ford and Mike’s wife, Danae.
Twenty Below plans to continue operating its downtown Fargo shop at 14 Roberts Street N. That shop opened in 2015.
The Roberts Street shop is open 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, and is closed on Sunday.
