A number of area businesses have announced they will remain closed or are likely to close early Thursday, Dec. 27, due to winter weather conditions.
West Acres Shopping Center will open at 10 a.m., but is operating in "storm mode," according to a Facebook post this morning:
"West Acres will open at 10 a.m., but we are in storm mode. This means our stores have the option to open or close based on what is best for them. If you’re visiting West Acres today for a specific store, please contact that store directly to learn their hours. We will continue to monitor the weather, and if conditions warrant we may update to a tier 2, in which case the entire mall will close."
Blue Cross Blue Shield and Noridian Healthcare Solutions have announced they will remain closed Thursday. Area colleges and universities will also remain closed or will operate with essential personnel only.
Fargo Meals on Wheels and Metro Senior Ride will also not operate Thursday.
