Carson Wentz has been calling Philadelphia home for the past two years, but North Dakotans still proudly claim him as their own. Though this star is on the rise in the NFL-copies of his jersey have been the most sold this year-the Bismarck, N.D., native's attitude has remained grounded. Instead of making headlines for dating a Kardashian, he was the subject of a moving ESPN special about his bond with a sick fan.

 

Through the first part of this season, the quarterback led the Philadelphia Eagles to the best record in the league and garnered Most Valuable Player buzz, but the former North Dakota State star is already a winner back home.
