GATE CITY BANK

Gate City Bank will offer a new day care loan program to increase child care availability in Moorhead, positively impact the workforce and provide children with a stronger foundation of education.
They are also pledging to give $5,000 to five other charities as part of Giving Hearts Day.
Steve Swiontek, chair of Gate City Bank in Fargo, will again serve as a North Dakota lawmaker after being away since 1984.
The bank, headquartered in Fargo, is one of 15 companies to be honored in 2022 out of more than 2,700 companies nominated.

Gate City counters that its community-bank focus, with a large share of checking account customers, naturally gives it higher overdraft income, but said its fees overall are low — including no fees for any ATM withdrawals.
