After starting a pop-up food pantry in a parking lot in 2020, it was quickly evident that the need for food supports was more significant than anticipated by YWCA Cass Clay, Lutheran Church of the Cross and Great Plains Food Bank. A sustainable, long-term solution was needed. This vision became a reality when Gate City Bank generously gave $120,000 to renovate the church garage for a pantry.
