Janessa Chew and Cole Julson announce their engagement.
Parents are Scott and Tami Chew, Jensen, Utah; and Jay and Mary Julson, Wahpeton, N.D.
Janessa graduated in 2007 from Uintah High School, Vernal, Utah, and is attending Utah State University, Logan, where she is pursuing a degree in rangeland resources. She is employed by the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service.
Cole graduated in 2005 from Wahpeton High School and attended the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, Rapid City, and Northland Community and Technical College, East Grand Forks, Minn. He is currently serving with the U.S. Marine Corps.
A Feb. 26 wedding is planned at the White House Reception Center, Vernal. A reception will be held at a later date in Wahpeton after Cole's return from military deployment to Afghanistan.

The couple will make their home at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif.
