Amy Christensen and Chase Battaglia announce their engagement.
Parents are Ray and Shellie Christensen, Moorhead; and Tony and Susan Battaglia, Yorba Linda, Calif.
Amy graduated in 2002 from Moorhead Senior High School and in 2007 graduated from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, with a bachelor's degree in exercise science and nutrition. She is manager of PetCo, Orange, Calif.
Chase graduated in 2003 from Esperanza High School, Yorba Linda, and graduated from California State of Fullerton with a bachelor's degree in communication and business. He is marketing manager of Quality Research and Replacement, Anaheim, Calif.
A July 10 wedding is planned in Yorba Linda and a July 16 reception is planned at the Holiday Inn, Fargo.
