Clay County Public Health to hold vaccine clinics Dec. 8 and 10

Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson&Johnson doses will be available Wednesday. Only Pfizer will be available Friday.

MOORHEAD — Clay County Public Health plans to offer vaccinations clinics next Wednesday, Dec. 8, and Friday, Dec. 10.

All shots are by appointment.

During the clinic set for Wednesday, first doses of the Pfizer vaccine will be available for ages 5-11 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

During that same time period and also from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine will be available for people 12 and older; and first, second and booster doses of Pfizer will be available for people 18 and older.

Booster Pfizer doses are available for those 18 and older six months after a second dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines, or two months after a Johnson & Johnson/Janssen dose.

Also from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, first, second and booster doses of Moderna will be available for people 18 and older, with the booster doses available for those 18 and older six months after a second dose of Moderna or Pfizer, or two months after a Johnson & Johnson/Janssen dose.

A clinic that is set for 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 10, will offer first doses of the Pfizer vaccine for ages 5-11, as well as first and second doses for ages 12 and older, with booster doses available for those 18 and older.

All of the clinics will be held at the Family Service Center, 715 11th St. N., Moorhead. Enter on the east side of building, door No. 1.
