FARGO — After a year off because of the coronavirus pandemic, there's a new Miss North Dakota.
Reyna Bergstrom was crowned with the title Saturday, June 19, by the Miss North Dakota Scholarship Organization in Williston.
Bergstrom graduated from Oak Grove Lutheran High School in 2014, and went on to study at Concordia, where she graduated in 2018. She now works at content specialist for the college's marketing team.
Bergstrom says she's excited for the opportunity to represent the state for the next year.
"'I'm just excited to connect with people across our state and to be able to represent North Dakota at a national scale. I mean, I've grown up here, this is my home, and just to be able to show that at a national level will be so much fun."
Bergstrom will represent North Dakota at Miss America in Connecticut this December.
