FARGO — "Anything But Typical," an event meant to connect neurotypical individuals, will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 29, at the downtown Fargo Public Library, 101 4th St. N.
"The mission of the event is to create an opportunity or a space where a specific type of neurodivergent community can gather, discuss and celebrate," according to an event press release.
The day will include Q&A panels, all-inclusive activities and conversations, and success stories and resources that will allow certain individuals to grow, thrive in Fargo-Moorhead and elsewhere.
Likely panels will include health providers, parents and guardians, business professionals and educators. All will be moderated.
Activities will include Red River Valley Asperger-Autism Network Lego building and creative projects such as crocheting, drawing and painting. There will also be presentations from the Fargo Public Library and Connect Autism and classes instructed by Loma Life Whole Body Wellness.
