Celebrate Holiday Nights at the Red River Zoo

Celebrate the holiday season with an evening stroll through the Red River Zoo.

The Red River Zoo will host a number of activities during upcoming Holiday Nights, including a S'mores station.

FARGO — The Red River Valley Zoo and Cass County Electric Cooperative invite the public to Holiday Nights at the zoo.

Holiday Nights feature:

  • A whimsical stroll through a festively decorated zoo
  • Spot the Elf Scavenger Hunt (Prizes include a Red Panda encounter, Porcupine encounter, Zoo sleepover, and more)
  • Sledding!  We'll have sleds available or you can bring your own
  • Special animal presentations and encounters
  • A fire pit with a S'mores station (additional charge)
  • Letter writing to Santa
  • Educational activities
  • Sugar cookie decorating (additional charge.)
  • Hot cocoa and coffee (additional charge.)
  • Dress for the weather.  We'll have our indoor spaces open for you to warm up in, but much of the event will take place outdoors.

Holiday Nights will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 25 and 26 and Dec. 2, 3, 9, 10, 16 and 17.
Red River Zoo members will receive free admission. For others, adult tickets are $6 and tickets for children ages 2 to 14 $4. Children ages 2 and under are free.

FARGO — A "live Nativity" will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, outdoors at Faith United Methodist Church, 909 19th Ave. N. Musical entertainment will be provided inside the fellowship hall featuring the 19th Avenue Jazz Singers of Fargo North High School and the Big House Band of Fargo Faith. Hot drinks and holiday treats will be served.
