SPICER, Minn. -- The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office is looking into whether a Monday night report of an armed robbery outside Zorbaz on Green Lake n Spicer was false.

The sheriff's office is still actively investigating, Chief Deputy Greg Stehn said Wednesday. He is planning to release more information Wednesday afternoon.

According to the report, received around 10:45 p.m. Monday, two men on skateboards slammed another man into a car. They claimed to be carrying a gun, and took the man's money.

One of the alleged perpetrators was described as having long blond hair, and wearing a white shirt and shorts. The other reportedly had brown hair.

Zorbaz is a popular restaurant and bar chain on lakeshores in 11 locations in western and central Minnesota.
