FARGO - The Saddle and Sirloin Club of North Dakota State University has announced the dates for its Little International Livestock Show.
The event kicks off at 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, with a hall of fame social and banquet at the Avalon West Events Center, 2525 9th Ave. S.
The livestock show begins at 8 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at the Shepperd Arena on the NDSU campus. Show finals begin at 5:30 p.m. at the arena. After the show, attendees are welcome to the dance beginning at 10 p.m. at the garden pavilion.
The Little International Livestock Show features showmanship classes of beef, dairy, sheep and swine as well as ham curing and public speaking contestants. The event also honors an agriculturist of the year, which commemorates an individual who has contributed substantially to the agriculture industry of North Dakota.
