GRAND FORKS — Hundreds of people are expected to get together for Christmas dinner at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Grand Forks on Dec. 24, Christmas Eve.

Turkey, stuffing, potatoes and gravy are all on the menu for the dinner, which co-director Sue Shirek said is a great way for people to get together for the holiday.

"If you don't have people to spend your holiday with or you can't afford a meal it's just a great way to be out in the community and have a little Christmas cheer," she said.

Dinner will be served from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church, 524 Fifth Ave. N.

Anyone in need of a ride to the meal or in need of a meal delivered at home can call the church's rectory at 701-772-2624 and press 5 to leave a message.
