FARGO — Those curious about genealogy and ancestry can learn about it at one of the hands-on workshops at Dr. James Carlson branch of the Fargo Public Library later this month.
The workshops will teach attendees how to navigate the free library edition of ancestry.com. The first session is at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, and the second will be at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27. The library is located at 2801 32nd Ave. S., Fargo.
Laptops will be provided for use during the 90-minute sessions; however, participants can bring their own. Space is limited and registration is required. Register online at http://programregistration.library.fargond.gov/ or call the information desk at 701-241-1492 for more information.
The events are free and open to the public. Adults are required to accompany children age 9 and younger.
