FARGO — North Dakota State University Extension is offering a Connecting Entrepreneurial Communities Conference virtually Nov. 9-13.

The CEC Conference is a community development initiative that brings together entrepreneurs, business leaders, economic development professionals, decision makers and community champions to strengthen and broaden regional entrepreneurial works.

Two entrepreneurs from North Dakota will speak at the virtual event. Jessie Monson, from Ten Seven Acres in Galchutt, N.D., will discuss how creative business strategies during the COVID-19 pandemic have led to increased revenue.

Additionally, Annie Carlson of Morning Joy Farm in Mercer, N.D., will keynote the opening day to discuss going from a Fortune 500 company to owning and operating Morning Joy Farm.
