FARGO — TEDxFargo has been canceled by COVID-19 once again.
Organizers announced Tuesday, Sept. 14, that the TEDxFargo Beyond event planned for Oct. 7 at the Fargo Theatre won’t be happening due to the continuing coronavirus pandemic.
“We understand that our community was so excited to gather and hear from our TEDxFargo speakers this year,” a post on the organization’s Facebook page said. “However after multiple conversations with health experts, our team has made the difficult decision to cancel our October TEDxFargo event.
“Our team has always said that TEDxFargo is a love letter to our community — and we don't believe hosting an event in the current climate would reflect that statement. While we are bummed, we can't wait to celebrate ideas worth spreading in the future,” the organization said.
The cost of tickets is being fully refunded automatically, TEDxFargo said.
“We appreciate this community and thank you for your continued support. Please email us at email@example.com if you have any questions,” the organization said.
