FARGO — The cities of Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo will have altered garbage collection schedules during the week of Independence Day.
In Fargo, garbage will be collected Monday, June 29, according to schedule. Collections from Tuesday, June 30 to Friday, July 3 will take place one day early. The sanitary landfill will be closed Friday, June 3.
Both garbage pickups scheduled for Friday, July 3, and Monday, July 6, will take place Monday, July 6 in Moorhead. The garbage transfer station will be closed Friday, June 3.
In West Fargo, both Thursday and Friday garbage collection will take place Thursday, July 2. Recycling collections will remain unaltered. The sanitation and public works buildings as well as the transfer station will be closed Friday, July 3.
The Clay County Landfill and Household Hazardous Waste Facility will both be closed Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4.
