FARGO — The Fargo Park District is opening their five outdoor pools for the summer at 1 p.m. Monday, June 7.
The outdoor pools set to open include Island Park Pool, Madison Pool & Splash Pad, Davies Recreational Pool, Southwest Recreation Pool and the newly renamed Roger G. Gress Northside Pool.
Additionally, on June 7, a naming ceremony is set to be held at Fargo’s Northside Recreational Pool, 824 19th Ave. N. This ceremony officially renames the pool after longtime Executive Director of the Fargo Park District Roger G. Gress, renaming it Roger G. Gress Northside Pool.
The Roger G. Gress Northside Pool Dedication Ceremony starts at 11:30 a.m. with free hot dogs and Pepsi products, followed by a short program at 12:30 p.m. Pools open for the season at 1 p.m. Pool admission is free all day at Roger G. Gress Northside Pool.
