Fargo Public Library launches StoryWalk program for children and families

FARGO — The Fargo Public Library announced Tuesday, June 23, the beginning of a StoryWalk program featuring Alison Murray's picture book "Hare and Tortoise".

StoryWalk signs will be in place Wednesday, June 24 to Saturday, July 11 in the plaza between the Main Library and the Fargo Civic Center. The signs feature artwork and words from the book and are spread out to encourage children to read, move and enjoy the outdoors.

Anne Ferguson created the original StoryWalk project in Montpelier, Vt., to promote literacy.
