MOORHEAD — The Lake Agassiz Regional Library has joined with the Minnesota Legal Services Coalition to offer access to legal kiosks in six locations in its seven-county service area.

Funding for the kiosks was made available by the CARES Act. The kiosks "will expand access to free legal services for vulnerable populations," a news release stated.

250 kiosks are available across Minnesota. Users can apply for civil legal aid services, access legal resourses and privately attend meetings with attorneys or remote court hearings.

Legal kiosks are open in Moorhead , Crookston, Detroit Lakes, Breckenridge, Fertile and Bagley. They are ADA accessible and will soon offer translations from English to Spanish, Hmong and Somali.
