Memorial Day closures announced for Fargo-Moorhead area

Garbage and recycling routes will be collected Tuesday in Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo.

FARGO — Several government offices will be closed and city services will be altered in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 29.

City offices in Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo will be closed Monday, as well as county offices in Cass and Clay counties.

The West Fargo Public Library and all Fargo Public Library branches will be closed Sunday and Monday. The Moorhead Public Library will be closed Monday.

Fargo Cass Public Health will be closed Monday.

In all three metro cities, Monday's garbage and recycling routes will be collected Tuesday. Affected residents are asked to place their garbage out the night before collection and remember that routes may run behind typical schedules.


The sanitary landfills in Fargo and Hawley will be closed Monday.
