Minn. author, historian to give lecture at Hjemkomst

MOORHEAD - Minnesota author and historian Ames Sheldon will give a lecture about women on the western front during World War I from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, at the Hjemkomst Center.

MOORHEAD – Minnesota author and historian Ames Sheldon will give a lecture about women on the western front during World War I from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, at the Hjemkomst Center.

The lecture, titled “The Female Experience on the Western Front,” will be offered in conjunction with the Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County’s exhibit “War, Flu & Fear: World War I and Clay County.”

Admission for the lecture is $5 for HCSCC members and $10 for non-members. Tickets will be available for purchase online or at the door. Refreshments will be provided.
