Moorhead Parks and Recreation, Nature of the North to host mindfulness snowshoe excursion

MOORHEAD — In conjunction with Nature of the North, Moorhead Parks and Recreation will host a mindfulness showshoe excursion from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 17, at the Hjemkomst Center.

Nature of the North and Randi Kay Olsen Heinold will lead the evening to help participants connect with nature.

Registration costs $10 per person for those with their own snowshoes or ski equipment or $15 per person for individuals who need to rent equipment.

At the event, participants are asked to maintain 6 feet of physical distancing between themselves and participants from other households. Face coverings are strongly encouraged.

In the event of inclement weather, the program will be rescheduled to Wednesday, Feb. 24.
