FARGO – Weather permitting, an aerial mosquito control application is scheduled between 7 and 11 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18 in:

  • Argusville, N.D.
  • Frontier, N.D.
  • Oxbow, N.D.

Should the spray be rescheduled, it will be on Sept. 19, during the same time frame.
The mosquito control product is one designed for use in residential areas. It is safe to use and will not harm people, pets or gardens, according to the spray company Airborne Custom Spraying. However, as an added measure of safety, residents may remain indoors while the application is taking place.

The applications have been approved by the Federal Aviation Administration and the appropriate state departments. Trained and licensed pilots are assisting in the control of the mosquitoes in the area.
