WEST FARGO – Heart-n-Soul Community Cafe and Tru Blue Social Club will host a pay-what-you-can-afford lunch event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, April 8, in the banquet room in the basement of Tru Blue Social Club, 915 19th Ave. E.
Chef Travis Roper will prepare barbecue chicken, hamburger and vegetable sliders for a meal that will include a choice of soup or salad. The suggested price is $7 for the meal, which also includes a strawberry milkshake or berries for dessert and beverages. Guests may also volunteer in exchange for a meal.
Options can accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten or dairy-free needs.
