FARGO— The Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity is officially raising the wall on it's first build of 2021.

This is the metros 68th Habitat for Humanity build. Nearly 300 volunteers will help with this 'faith build' in South Moorhead.

The executive director of the Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity, Jim Nelson, says it's took nearly a year just to start this build. Now that the walls are up, there is still plenty for volunteers and the future home owners to do to turn this house into home.

"They're thrilled, we're thrilled. The idea of transforming the life of a family for generations is is not something we take lightly. It's serious, and it's exciting to be a part of it," says Nelson.
