North Dakota Veterans Home to hold 125th anniversary celebration event

LISBON, N.D. - The North Dakota Veterans Home, 1600 Veterans Drive, will be celebrating its 125th anniversary by hosting a celebration event on Saturday, Sept. 8. The date of the event coincides with the Veterans Home's annual family picnic for residents and their family members.

The agenda for the day is as follows:

• 10:30 a.m.: Red River Valley Veterans Concert Band.

• 11 a.m.: Flyover and ceremony.

• Noon: Lunch.

• 1 to 3:30 p.m.: Games by Games to Go.

• 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.: Dancing with music by The Honky-Tonk Stardust Cowboys.

• 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.: Facility tours.
