FARGO — Skating performances and public lessons are available from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, at Broadway Square, 201 Broadway N., in Fargo.

There will be performances by Fargo Park District advanced program skaters, followed by lessons from Fargo Park District Learn to Skate and Hockey Skills instructors.

The afternoon begins with skaters ages 5-17 performing their competition programs to a variety of music genres. Following the performances, starting around 3 p.m., tips to improve skating will be offered from the instructors.

Instructors teach all levels of skaters, whether they want to sharpen skills or learn new ones. Due to COVID-19, masks are required, and the rink is monitored with only 10-15 skaters allowed on the ice at a time. Skates are available to rent at the Skate Shack.
