FARGO – The Village Family Service Center has a new CEO and President.
The Village’s board of directors announced Monday, April 2, that Jeff Pederson has been selected for the role. He’ll start in the position on April 16.
“Jeff comes to The Village with decades of executive experience, including leadership positions with public and nonprofit organizations,” Board Chairman Rick Henderson said in a written statement. “His integrity, focus on mission, and servant leadership style made him an ideal candidate.”
Pederson, of Oxbow, N.D., was a former president of Catholic Health Initiatives Villa Nazareth Organization for 24 years, as well as the former mayor of Grafton, N.D.
His past experience also includes serving as vice president of finance and business administration for Grand Forks Public Schools and director of administration for the Department of Human Services State Developmental Center.

“I strongly feel that the mission, vision and values align well with my personal beliefs in meeting the needs of people across the region,” Pederson said in a written statement about his new role with The Village.
