FARGO — First Lutheran Church will be holding an appreciation dinner and an Army brass quintet concert for Veterans Day on Friday, Nov. 11.
The appreciation dinner for veterans and their families will begin at 6 p.m. at the church at 619 Broadway, with the Full Battle Rattle Brass Quintet of the 188th Army Band, North Dakota Army National Guard to follow.
The dinner and concert are free, and the public is invited to attend, according to a press release from First Lutheran Church.
The 188th Army Band Brass Quintet is directed by Sgt. Gus Tandberg and will feature five brass musicians performing patriotic anthems including Home on the Range, America the Beautiful, The Liberty Bell March and the Washington Post March.
