Virtual lunch for landlords and tenants to focus on service animal laws

The lunch will discuss federal and state laws surrounding service and emotional support animals.

MOORHEAD — The Minnesota Department of Human Rights is scheduled to offer a virtual presentation of the topic of service and emotional support animals under federal and state laws.

The presentation, which will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, June 17, is open to landlords, property managers, tenants and service providers. It is available at no cost.

Jerry Christiansen from the Freedom Resource Center will discuss legal differences in North Dakota.

The Lakes and Prairies Community Action Partnership's Successful Outcomes for Tenants and Landlords committee is sponsoring the event.
