YMCA of Cass and Clay expands senior lunch program

The lunch is open to those 60 and over.

FARGO — The YMCA of Cass and Clay Counties is adding a new location to its Community Lunch for Seniors program.

The lunch will now also be offered at the Schlossman YMCA on 19th Ave. S. in Fargo. This newest addition brings the total number of locations hosting the lunch to 18.

"I have family members who get the meals at their apartments, and I know the benefits of the program because its nutritious food they are getting," said YMCA of Cass and Clay Counties Vice President Lorie Thomke.

The lunch at Schlossman will be offered from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Although the meal is free, a $4 donation is welcome.
