FARGO – Alley Fair is coming back here, once again reminding the locals to enjoy and make use of the city’s forgotten spaces.
But this time, the party’s moving south to the alleyway south of Main Avenue between Ninth Street South and 10th Street South.
New details of the upcoming event, which will run throughout the day and evening on
Sept. 20, were recently posted online. Two similar events were held between Broadway and Roberts Street last year.
The festivities start at 11 a.m. and include an artist and makers’ market, harvest market, food vendors including Blackbird Pizza and The Hot Dog Peddler, games, live art demonstrations and music through 7 p.m. Gigi’s Ice Lollies, Bakeology and Milkhaus, among others, also are scheduled to be at the alley.
The fair will pick up the pace 7 to 11 p.m. with a concert featuring Diane Miller and the Silver Daggers and a 21+ beer garden. This portion of the event has an $8 cover charge.
