Denver volleyball team sweeps North Dakota State

The Pioneers improved to 12-2 in the Summit League standings, a half-game behind leader Omaha.

DENVER — Denver rolled past North Dakota State 25-21, 25-22, 25-17 in a Summit League matchup Saturday at the Hamilton Gymnasium.

Denver improved to 21-3 overall and are 12-2 in the league, a half game behind leader Omaha. The Bison fell to 5-10 in the Summit and 11-16 overall.

NDSU's Syra Tanchin had a team-high eight kills, Ali Hinze had six and Kirstin Todd had four. Alexis Boling had four blocks, Raegen Reilly had 21 set assists and Reilly and Taylor Quan both had 13 digs.

The Bison are off until they travel to North Dakota for a 7 p.m. match on Saturday, Nov. 13.
