Sarah Dixon and Travis Hackey, Fargo, announce their engagement.
Parents are John and Jane Dixon, Henning, Minn.; and Bruce and Cheryl Hackey, Colfax, N.D.
Sarah graduated in 1992 from Fergus Falls (Minn.) High School and in 1996 graduated from Concordia College with a bachelor's degree in health care administration and music. She is an adjunct business professor at Rasmussen College and the North Dakota State College of Science, Fargo.
Travis graduated in 1994 from Richland High School, Colfax, and in 1994 graduated from Valley City (N.D.) State University with a bachelor's degree in education. He is a social studies teacher at Oakes (N.D.) High School. He has also served with the Army National Guard for 18 years.
A June 2 wedding is planned at First Lutheran Church, Battle Lake, Minn.
