Dorothy Pender, Moorhead, will celebrate her 80th birthday with family and friends.
She was born July 12, 1932, in Fisher, Minn., to Albert and Ida (Radi) Ross. She was married to the late Jerry Pender and they farmed in the Downer, Minn., area.
She has four children, Barb (Kenny) Wirtz, Dilworth; Rick (Michele) Pender, Moorhead; Cindy Leach (Tom Griffin), Park Rapids, Minn.; and Jeri (Mike) Reep, Detroit Lakes, Minn.; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
