Christie Dotzenrod, Wyndmere, N.D., and Geoffrey Childress, Rugby, N.D., announce their engagement.
Parents are Dan and Rose Dotzenrod, Wyndmere; and Tom and Lynda Childress, Rugby.
Christie graduated in 2005 from Wyndmere Public School and in 2009 graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in English and speech education. She is an English teacher at Central Valley School, Buxton, N.D.
Geoffrey graduated in 2003 from Rugby High School and in 2007 graduated from NDSU with a master's degree in applied statistics. He is a crop insurance analyst in Anoka, Minn.
A June 5 wedding is planned at St. John's Catholic Church, Wyndmere, followed by a reception at the Holiday Inn, Fargo.
