Winner: Lindenwood Park

Location: Fargo

This year's Best City Park is a year-round favorite because of the shared shelter, picnic spaces to the annual holiday lights. Families and individuals agree Lindenwood Park is a versatile escape to nature in our urban landscape.

"It is great to have one of our parks recognized this way by the citizens of the Fargo area," said Dave Leker, interim executive director of Fargo Parks District. "We are proud of our staff and facilities."

Besides the typical outdoor activities and sports programs, Leker said parks like Lindenwood provide citizens with the ability to enjoy gardening, arts and crafts, cultural activities and special events.
