Fargo native Kaiva Rose returns to town with her new book, “Rou Odyssey — Look Beyond,” from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Spirit Room, 111 Broadway N., Fargo. The title is the first in a series of fantasy stories following Percilla, a young rebel with a family secret who has to deal with personal tragedies as she tries to save those closest to her. The Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre is serving up a killer dinner this weekend. The troupe and Chef’s Table Catering are partnering up on a dinner theater production of ‘“Café Murder.” The interactive show asks the audience to solve the murder of an obnoxious restaurant guest who may have been killed by the kitchen staff or her own dining party. The mystery unfolds nightly Thursday through Saturday at Chef’s Table Catering’s new private event space, 3241 42nd St. S, Fargo (formerly Barbacoa restaurant).
