MOORHEAD — As part of his book tour for his latest work, best-selling author Leif Enger will make a few stops along his route at local libraries for discussions on "Virgil Wander" — an enchanting and timeless story of the residents of a small Midwestern town struggling to revive its community.

Enger will make a stop at the Moorhead Public Library, 118 Fifth St. S., at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16. Other stops are as follows:

  • 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15: Fosston Public Library.
  • 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15: Crookston Public Library.
  • 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17: Hawley Public Library.
  • 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17: Detroit Lakes Public Library.

These events are free and open to the community.
